The 2 Foot Adventures three-season quilt is conservatively rated to 5°F (-15ºC), using 850fp Goose Down. The quilt has a sewn foot-box and zips all the way to the top from the knee, similar to a sleeping bag. The top of this ultralight down quilt has a snap and draw string for maximum flexibility. On warm nights we prefer to sleep with the quilt unzipped and snapped at the top. On cold nights we zip up and cinch the top to reduce cold air flowing into the bag.
This ultralight, ultra warm quilt is designed and made with thru-hiking in mind - light weight, versatile, and easily packable into the small space of a backpack. The quilt is made exclusively for 2 Foot Adventures. Designed based on extensive thru hike experience.
The head end is 56 inches (1.42 m) wide down to the midpoint and tapers to 46 (1.17m) inches at the foot end. The standard to narrow cut minimizes dead space within the bag allowing hikers to warm up much faster at the end of long hiking days.
